Our Holiday Programme for 2013

Dog-sledding on a Nordic Challenge holiday

The dates and prices for all our 2013 Holidays are listed below.

  • All costs are per person based on two people sharing a double/twin room.
  • Costs exclude flights, train transfer to Vinstra or Lillehammer, minibus transfer from/to stations to hotels and personal insurance.
  • Included are ski tuition, full board/half board accommodation as indicated and ski rental.
  • Costs of accommodation and ski rental have been made at a rate of NOK 8.50/£.
  • Flights and rail transfers are paid on line at time of booking.
  • Clients pay their hotel bills, which will include their ski equipment rental bills and any coach/minibus transfer charges from/to stations, at the end of their holiday.
  • No deposit is required for accommodation, coach/minibus transfers or ski rental.

We have now had two consecutive winter seasons brought to a disappointingly premature conclusion by the onset of abnormally early Spring weather.  These have prompted us to both start and end our season a little earlier (20 January – 17 March). If you want good snow conditions, book an early course!

Notes on charges

  • FB = Full Board; HB = Half Board (includes DIY packed lunch).
  • The ski rental charge is included in the cost of the holiday and is for the rental of one set of Nordic skis only. Rental of additional sets (either classic, skate, Telemark or Alpine) will incur an additional charge.
  • Ski lift pass for Telemark skiing.
    • The price of the lift pass for the Telemark skiing course is not included in the overall cost of the holiday.
All Holidays
  • All accommodation costs are based on two people sharing twin or double en-suite rooms.
  • Full board/half board is included as indicated above.
  • Single supplement is: £20 pppd at Wadahl; £12 pppd at Nordseter. (Further details on single rates for the hotels on our two tours will be available in our Information Pack.)
  • Wadahl Panorama rooms (south facing) supplement is an additional £15 pppd.
